Samortek ltd was launched in 2007 and incorporated in 2008 focuses on serving business information and information technology needs in the Internet age. Our headquaters are in Mombasa, Kenya with offices in Nairobi and Atlanta Ga.

Technical Infrastructure

Our technical infrastructure includes: office space, a comfortable workplace for each member equipped with robust hardware and up-to-date software, a broadband Internet connection, and telephone lines.

Processes

For its outsourcing services, Samortek applies a standard and time-tested Offshore Engagement Model. It offers our strong software development experience, project management knowledge, intercultural competence, seamless communication and a shared responsibility. The model is variable with regard to customer's timeframes, confidentiality or security issues, requirements dynamics and some other factors.

We use Rational Unified Process for software development. We ensure that the processes that we follow increases efficiencies and don’t add to overheads. Our developers follow the Agile development methodology with weekly or bi-weeekly sprints depending on project scope.

We have defined processes for requirement capture, analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. We generate UML diagrams representing the Use Case Model, Analysis Model, Design Model, Implementation Model and Test Model.
